For this assignment you will work using the Library’s databases for your research. Below is a list of recent free speech controversies. Each person will choose one of the free speech controversies below and begin a research project on that topic. No overlap will be permitted. For this exercise, you are required to find any major (Federal; particularly Supreme Court) court cases relevant to the controversy, as well as 3-5 law review articles relevant to the controversy. (You shouldalso include any news reportingabout the controversy that you find helpful).Each team will turn in a report that includes the following: 1. A brief (1 paragraph) explanation of the controversy 2. Identification of the most relevant case or cases (with full academic citations) 3.A brief summary of the majority opinion and any dissenting opinions in the case(summarize the rationale, don’t just report the decision). 4. A list of the law review articles with full citations and a 1-2 sentence summary of the main argument of each article.
